Affiliated Research Centers

Since its inception more than 60 years ago, research at the McGill Department of Psychiatry has always been a priority. In 1963, the Research and Training Building was inaugurated as the first Canadian institution devoted to psychiatry research and training.

Today, the Department is comprised of three research centres and one partner centre.
