Apart from the many helpful resources available throughout McGill’s campuses, the Faculty of Education offers various technological tools and learning spaces to benefit students and staff. Members of the Education Community have access to meeting spaces, computer labs, software, audiovisual visual equipment, and unlimited support from McGill IT professionals.
Our Facilities
Just as our scholarly fields within Education are continuously evolving, so are our learning spaces. Some of the highlights of the Faculty include the Jack Cram Auditorium, Tassone Teaching Lab, Education Curriculum Resources Centre, Multi-Literacies and Creative Arts Labs, Science Education Lab, Psychoeducational and Counselling Clinic, Mock Courtroom, and Student Learning Commons. With the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education housed at the Currie Gymnasium, full athletics facilities (e.g. swimming pools, ice rink, football/soccer turf, weight room, squash and racquetball courts, field house, etc.) are also available for use.
Along with the Education Computer Lab (with both Mac and PC units), students and staff have access to updated technological equipment through our Audiovisual Equipment Loan Service, including laptops, 3D printer, digital cameras, tripods, microphones, digital audio recorders, projectors, podcast recording booth, and more.
