Education Welcomes Two New McCall MacBain Scholars
Two members of the Fall 2024 cohort of McCall MacBain Scholars will begin their funded Master’s studies at McGill’s Faculty of Education. Designed to encourage purposeful leadership, the scholarships enable students to pursue a funded degree while participating in mentorship, coaching, and a leadership development program.
Dr. Tina Montreuil, ECP, Invited to Provide Expert Testimony to the House of Commons
Dr. Tina Montreuil, ECP, has been recognized by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health as one of Canada’s Difference Makers.
This honour led to Dr. Montreuil’s selection as an expert witness, invited to present before Canada’s parliament on April 8, 2024.

From the AERA Motivation in Education Special Interest Group, she received the Wilbert C. McKeachie Early Career Award for Motivation in Education Research, and from AERA Division C (Learning and Instruction), she received the Outstanding Early Career Scholar Award.

Call for Research Participants: Paid Study in Endurance Runners
Participate in this study to investigate the acute independent effects of dietary protein supplementation on bone metabolism in healthy adults aged 18-35 years participating in high-volume endurance running.
Duration: One baseline visit followed by two trials of 2 days each (approximately 15 hours total).
Criteria: 1) Must be between the age of 18 - 35 years old 2) Running at least 40 km/week the past 6 months
