Dr. Khoury is an Associate Professor in ECP and he heads the McGill Mindfulness Research Lab, where he and his team conduct research on advancing the theory, research, and applications of mindfulness and compassion.
Dr. Kristy A. Robinson, Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, has received the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) President’s New Researcher Award.
She will accept the award at this year's CPA convention in Ottawa (June 21-23), where she will also deliver an invited talk on her work.
This award recognizes the exceptional quality of her contributions to psychological knowledge in Canada as an early career researcher.

Two members of the Fall 2024 cohort of McCall MacBain Scholars will begin their funded Master’s studies at McGill’s Faculty of Education. Victoria Talwar, ECP Professor, Faculty of Education Interim Dean, and Lab Director of the Talwar Child Development Research Lab, recently published a paper in Developmental Psychology that investigates the effects of honesty promotion techniques on children of different ages.

Participate in this study to investigate the acute independent effects of dietary protein supplementation on bone metabolism in healthy adults aged 18-35 years participating in high-volume endurance running.
Duration:
One baseline visit followed by two trials of 2 days each (approximately 15 hours total).
Criteria:
1) Must be between the age of 18 - 35 years old
2) Running at least 40 km/week the past 6 months
Looking for adults aged 50 and above diagnosed with either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes to participate in a research study.
Participation involves one audio-recorded interview conducted via Microsoft Teams or by phone.
