Working for the United Nations (UN) is a dream of many young professionals. It’s an opportunity to be part of global initiatives. Come and attend our interactive workshop faciliated by McGill’s Alumni Kelly Wong. During this session you will learn where to find UN internships, how to write an impactful cover letter/CV to catch the eye of the hiring committee, tackling the interview, networking skills and much more.  

 

Mentor Bio: Kelly Wong has worked as a Security/Intelligence Analyst at international organisations, private sector and Canadian federal government. Upon earning a MA in Human Rights and Democratisation with a focus in security, migration and constitutional law, she completed an internship the International Criminal Court, Office of the Prosecutor. She subsequently continued her training and consultancy at UNESCO headquarters, and has since worked at private intelligence firms throughout Europe and the United Kingdom. As an alumna of McGill’s Faculty of Arts, Kelly works with current students to explore the academic and professional opportunities, internationally and nationally, following graduation.
