McTavish Street / Rue McTavish, 3600 rue McTavish, Montreal, CA
 McGill Farmer’s Market Take Down

Are you passionate about food security and looking to connect with other like-minded folks on campus? Come volunteer with the McGill Farmer's Market, a student-run organization that partners with local farmers and vendors to provide sustainably sourced produce and food baskets to the community! The activity will consist of helping to take down tents and tables, transporting goods to Redpath storage, helping vendors with takedown, and interacting with community members.

Once you sign up, you will receive an email with additional information. Registration closes 3 days before the event.

When a minimum of 4 hours of volunteering for the Farmer's Market has been completed, you can request a copy of your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), an official document recognizing your involvement in and out of classroom learning experiences.

If there are extra locally grown vegetables at the end of the day, you are welcome to take some home!

Please note that this event requires some physical labor. The McGill Farmers’ Market is committed to inclusivity; if you have questions or requests related to accessibility, please email getinvolved.firstyear [at] mcgill.ca so we may offer an option that suits your needs.
