Life After Your Degree (LifeAYD): Ask Me Anything with Gemma Peralta, Social Media & Comms Professional

Are you interested in learning more about social media and communications careers? Join us online on December 8th to hear from Gemma Peralta (BA’00), social media and communications expert with over 15 years of experience working on social media campaigns for the non-profit sector.

Attendees will hear from Gemma as she shares her knowledge and advice about the social media and communications industry, followed by a lively Q&A - come prepared with your questions! Attendees will also get the chance to network and engage in discussion with each other and the alumni speaker in small groups. About the Speaker:

Gemma Peralta completed a BA in Political Science & Sociology at McGill, then went on to get her MA in Political Science from McMaster University. She has over 15 years of non-profit sector experience working on social campaigns in Nicaragua, Rwanda, Vietnam, Indonesia, Guyana, and Canada, and she is the founder of Create Dialogue, a social media strategy company specializing in telling stories that reach millions and start conversations online. She currently works as a Senior Communications Officer at CBC Manitoba and sits on the McGill Alumni Association board as Director.
